clear Kabir the poet broke the barriers between Hinduism and Islam by going to the heart of religion. As Jesus says: "The kingdom of God is within you", so Kabir sings about an intoxicated state; where he is one with the "beloved", with God. God can be experienced; as heaven is a state of mind, not a place.
The line of Sant Mat gurus starts with him; Kabir Sahib.

'There is a land where no doubt nor sorrow have rule:
Where the Terror of Death is no more.
There the woods of spring are a-bloom,
And the fragrant scent "He is I" is borne on the wind.
There the bee of the heart is deeply immersed,
And desires no other joy.'
